SOCIAL
PROBLEM SOLVING:
Community
High School's counseling staff, teachers, and support staff offer
students ongoing guidance in the variety of issues and topics that concern
teenagers. Counselors, and teacher/mentors help students deal with important
social issues and assist them with any problems, concerns, questions, and
general needs that the students may have involving school or school-related
issues. The school provides all students with options and alternatives for
use within problematic situations. The mentor also acts as an advocate with
the school administration. Each incoming freshman is assigned a mentor to
help with their transition into the high school.
