The Community School sponsors periodic seminars, workshops, conferences and symposia designed to provide parents, educators and professionals with information regarding the education, management and socialization of the learning disabled/ADD child and adolescent.

Teacher Training Workshop

Each year, The Community School of Bergen County and the LDA of New Jersey Bergen / Hudson Chapter presents a series of workshops that offer an opportunity for The Community School consultants, staff and specialists to share the theories and methods that have proved so successful in teaching children with learning disabilities and associated behavior problems. These workshops provide information and strategies for us by parents, teachers, learning specialist and clinicians. The programs are held at The Community School, 11 West Forest Avenue, Teaneck, NJ unless otherwise stated.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The Community School is a registered New Jersey Professional Development Provider. The workshops in this series will provide state-approved continuing professional development. Professional Development Provider Registration #286 (Community Lower School) #287 (Community High School).
